Back in 2010. I was working to deploy SharePoint farms for some clients. Being from the Mediterranean (Split, Croatia) I always preferred to skip tedious tasks like creating SharePoint farm documentation over and over again. That’s how idea for SPDocKit came to my mind let’s automate the documentation part, make it quick and efficient and still charge my customer for the actual documentation document.

Just last week we have shipped SPDocKit version 7 with so many great features including SharePoint farm performance monitoring, alters based on the SharePoint ULS logs or Windows Event Logs, documentation for the Microsoft Project Server, the ability to restore permissions from a snapshot, improved support for SharePoint Online and much more.

Today we have also released SQLDocKit version 7.1. SQLDocKit is the younger brother of our flagship product SPDocKit. When we released the first version of SQLDocKit in 2016. I said we will never get to the point where we are going to have documentation for tables. But jus one year later, our awesome SQLDocKit team made a miracle and in this release we are shipping some cool features including the documentation of database objects including tables, views, stored procedures and much more.

Both products come with a 30 day, fully functional trial. Give them a spin, and let me know your comments down below. Every comment qualifies for 20% discount!
